If you are using a FMC or FMS at the MAP the missed approach leg should automatically sequence at the EOA (End Of Approach).
Some old GA GPSs won’t automatically sequence through the MAP and you gotta manually select it otherwise it will just go into DR mode if I recall correctly, aka King KLN 89 if I recall correctly.
