Far fetched very likely... I would even say close to impossible unless the airline is seeking industrial trouble. However an Oz seniority number is quite feasible.... All depends on how keen Jetstar is to obtain pilots in Japan knowing fully well the course the JCAB put them through and the inherent failure rate.
Jetstar Oz would have to openly state that, otherwise a statement made to that effect would have to be verified in writing by Jetstar in Australia.
