Meekatharra rescue - submerged vehicleLast night we helped the Western Australia Police Force to find two men near Meekatharra in WA. We tasked our Perth Challenger jet and located the stranded men at around 7:45pm. Their vehicle was submerged in flood waters and the men were on the roof of the vehicle.

At first light this morning the Challenger jet relocated the men, and provided top cover as the rescue helicopter Choppa 61 winched them to safety.

The men were both conveyed to hospital for a precautionary check-up. Great work by all involved!
