Don't stress about the WOMBAT, there is nothing you can really do to prepare for it aside from get a good night's sleep, as it requires sustained focus for 2.5 hours. You learn it on the day and have 30 mins or so to practice before you start the assessment. The simulator is for a Piper Seminole, and no there isn't much feedback (i.e. not a full motion sim). I won't guess about which course you'd be eligible for, but they run them very regularly.
