Where they would *come from* is obviously the big question, but giving people the opportunity to *go to* so many more places gives you the best opportunity of rooting them out, wherever they are, if they exist. For me the answer was that I'd have come from Riga, Munich and Amsterdam (though if we're dreaming anyway, the airport that might have suited best would have been Blackpool!).
KLM / Manston: Not really, they only stopped flights a month after Manston first said they were going to close, and sounded unhappy about it.
I realise slots are a problem now, though. Nowadays nobody would start utilising slots at AMS by operating flights to Manston, Humberside, Teesside... or Carlisle!
