VH-CDC was a USAAF C-49A (DC3). The Douglas C-49 was the designation given to 138 Wright Cyclone powered Dc-3s impressed into the USAAF after the US entry into World War II.
The aircraft was operated by ANA on behalf of the USAAF. It crashed at Tacloban in the Philippines on Tuesday 13 November 1945 with the loss of three crew and 13 passengers. There was only one survivor.
