Just booked some flights where I could have equally happily gone to Manchester or Carlisle even if there was a small premium for CAX. It's a shame the connection opportunities aren't really working.
From RIX and MUC came up with prices £700+ and journey times 20h + each way.
From AMS was only £150, but the routing was AMS > MAN > overnight > BHD > CAX!
I started wondering if it could be worth adding an Amsterdam flight to get some connection opportunities, but then I saw the number and prices of AMS flights to MAN. This is where you realise what CAX is up against. Teesside can support flights to Amsterdam. Even Manston could!
