In 1993, a much older TGV train derailed at 300kph due to a hole opening under the track, stayed upright, and produced one light injury. Which one was a better design?
If i ever need an example for over-simplification, here it is. When the TGV derailed, was there as switch (point) on the track? Was there a bridge in the way?
