There are direct trains to Amsterdam already. The return involves faffing around at Brussels. But this is what is about to change. Frequencies are not great though so I think at this stage the impact on flights will be small
The inaugural non-faff run was today. And compared with the faff of airport travel, it's hardly surprising that the Amsterdam trains, which can carry several hundred passengers, have been even more popular than expected. Whether these are new pax or transferring from air, don't know.
