Please try to approach the topic honestly. A plane in its teens used for short daily domestic operations has a huge number of cycles on the airframe and is nothing like a plane crossing the Atlantic once a day or making a bucket and spade trip down to the south of Spain.
You have mistakenly assumed I was referring to long haul flying. Look at how long LH ran some of their 737s for and at the age of some their current Airbus narrowbody fleet.
Anyway, as others have said, short-haul aircraft are of course designed for a high-cycle life.
