There I was cruising the North German Plain at 420kts, 250ft when an F16 appeared in my 10 o’clock turning left. He rolled out in my 12 o’clock about a mile ahead. Without manoeuvring at all I selected Ait-to-Air override and fired the radar to let him know he had just been engaged.
The F16 went into a hard break left, I flew on straight and level, he turned again into my 6 o’clock and engaged me, but I shot him first so I didn’t react.
So, what do we deduce from this? Easy, the Tornado GR1 is a better fighter than an F16.
