That is not true. I was offered that "floating contract" straight after the interview last summer. Same for a friend of mine who attended the interview a year before. So this "fantastic" offer is valid for new pilots as well.
I was there last week, and we were told the “floating contracts” were full and not available at the moment. And they were only available to experienced FOs. This is what we were told on an assessment day last week.
