Why would the Government allow FlyBE to "defer" APD when other regional and international airlines must pay it on time.
It seems like that is like any other business withholding VAT or social security payments.
This was done intentionally by someone high in management in the Company.

If deferring (not writing off) payment saves 2000 jobs, then it would be prudent to do this.
However, I am surprised at the lack of noise from Stobart and Virgin who only a few months ago launched their Virgin Connect website and waxed lyrical about the journey. Odd, odd, odd.
