Noted this week, some of the inter-island flights as well as GCI-SOU have been operated by Dornier a/c (G-LGIS). Wonder how pax reacted to this instead of the usual ATR42 or 72? One thing is clear: Aurigny are not selling many seats on the routes if flights can be downgraded to Do.228. Comments on the Blue Islands thread indicate generally good loads on the GCI-SOU route with an ATR72 fairly full. The GR Dornier by contrast has 18 seats.
I have always thought it bonkers them both operating 50 plus seaters on these routes

The Dorniers are ideal for a higher frequency service , especially inter- island There is nothing mid morning or mid afternoon JER GCI or back
