Paradoxically, this kind of
PR spin could lead to a suggestion that... the Ambulance Service's tasking process - when relieved of the "aircraft tasking criteria" due to no aircraft availability and road response only, is at liberty to make more frequent use of the Paramedics (and more specifically their elevated skill-set) that are seconded to the Air Ambulance.
When looked at from the punter's perspective it could be argued that they're generally getting more frequent access to the Critical Care Paramedics when the aircraft is unavailable.
