For EK to continue to operate over Iran and Iraq in this situation is a plain gamble with the lives of their passengers!
For QR this is a disaster!
Iran threatens to attack any country which has American bases in the area if USA retaliates, and points directly at DXB. It also effects nearly all other countries in the area, Oman, Iraq, Kuwait, Qatar (not likely), UAE, Saudi Arabia.
