It 'cheers me up' to know that my consultant told me that when they missed this three years ago, if it had been a brain bleed, I would have died 8-10 months later, so I consider myself lucky!!
The advice on this forum has been both helpful and reassuring, which isn't always a pprune quality.
As an aside, I have just received my CAA file, and it is (yet again) full of mistakes and errors, notably from the period when they missed this condition.
If we take nothing else from this thread, then don't be afraid to challenge the CAA - they are very often wrong!
