If anything, the regional ( perhaps in concert with a LCC) cooks up a flow of unknown or disputed efficacy as a marketing tool for recruiting.
This particular "flow" has been discussed on APC. At the risk of telling you something you already know, here is the thread. In any event, choose the regional that suits your career purposes without reference to any gimmicks.

I understand that they have flow, but it's still premature to say that it's coming soon for Australians on E3s. I hope it happens, that would be great, but not something to base your decision off.
