Say I have 300 hours I join CX as SO stay with them for couple years, would the hours I fly with them count towards the 1500 hours for ATP rating for when I want to come back and work for a US based airline?
no you will still have 300 hrs. If you decide to join Cathay with just 300 hrs then be ready to stay there for a long time till get become FO and gain some experience
