I'm not sure if you use is professional or personal and how dependent you are on computer access.
My advice is that I would bite the bullet and change as soon as you reasonably can within in your own budget and timeframe, because one day, it might be months or even years but something just won't work.
It may be a browser can't get security updates or another piece of software that you use, but sod's law with be that it will happen at the most inconvenient time and force your hand.
I speak as someone who's backup is a 10 year old laptop running Windows Vista. It's fine for a bit of internet and email on the road but on a daily basis would drive me around the bend. Security is the biggest risk and certainly no online purchases!
Built in obselescense is a fact of life in technology today unfortunately.
