Timor? there's a dump - 400 years of Portuguese non-benign neglect followed by 40 years of Indonesia oppression...................
I got there once a about the 3rd time of asking - and regretted it..............
PS I am of course referring to Timor Leste which is actually a very attractive place but not good. I tried to get to Kupang a couple of times in Suharto's time but the flights were always "cancelled", "fully booked" or "very very expensive" - i presume it's an earthly paradise
