Interesting to see that Aurigny has applied for 56 weekly slots at LHR,

but have been turned down. The only way this route will work is to have an airline that has an alliance of some sort to give travellers onward connectivity - Virgin Connect (if they stay on the GCI/LHR route) are the only option. This is another money wasting exercise by Aurigny management who seem to want all the London market for themselves and is not what their owners the GCI public want at all.
