After reading the fleet lists on Jethros and planespotters.net, I have realised that the youngest of the ex-HOP AT45s due to replace the S2000 fleet is older than the youngest S2000! Whats the point of introducing a "new" 24 year old fleet? Surely even if they are cheaper to run, they'd have to be replace them relatively soon?
I imagine parts are easier to come by for an ATR than a saab so the age shouldn't be a problem in itself.
