No, there's no mistake or confusion with the Rossair crash. The information is from a reliable source, an experienced pilot, that it is a Cessna 441.
The media are notorious for being wildly inaccurate with their aviation-related information - and virtually no media people are working on a Saturday night.
"Adelaide Now" initially reported it as an "ultralight crash". God give us strength, they wouldn't know an aircraft from a parachute.
There's confusion with the SAPOL reporting that RA-Aus will be investigating, but my pilot source generally knows what he's talking about.
