Be a pilot or Flight instructor?

Hi all,
I have a question and hope every one here willing to assist me on this.
i'm 30 years old, have 0 experience in flying. i'm really interested to become a pilot. i have been applying as cadet on various airlines (south east asia, and asia as well) for the past 5-7 years. However, i did not received any offer until now. A part from that, i have been looking at enrolling at flying academy and pay by myself to become a pilot as well. however, i face another issue where the course here in South east Asia is quite expensive (total course can take up to 80-100k, in USD) due to the amount, it is quite impossible for me to enroll as it is hard to find study loan for it because we do not have anything to mortgage at that point of time.
Now, i have been thinking of switching from become commercial pilot into Flight Instructor. to my understanding, the CFI course is not that expensive compared to commercial pilot. And i have been looking forward to get the CFI, and i'm looking at doing it in UK / US. I may be able to mortgage our family properties for the loan.
Can anyone advice me on this
