Today I visited a small shop with limited parking space - so I parked around the corner.
- The man in the queue in front of me was doing a large shop and was fairly switched on in arranging items at the till - he was in his 70s, I'd guess. BUT once the attendent had carefully packed all the frozen food items in the large strong carrier he had brought - he THEN brough out x4 flat ice-packs that he wanted to place in the carrier. So a number of items had to be unpacked. Further, the outdoor temperature was only 14 degrees and this was local shopping, so ice packs not needed.
- The woman who came in after me, (late 50s, early 60s) found there was no parking spot available so parked half on the pavement and half in the busy road - across a Yellow Line. She spent the time hopping back and forth to see if she was going to get a ticket.
I did wonder how those two would handle ANY kind of boarding system ...
