What I'm intrigued to find out is how they plan to operate this service as, I believe, the 8 based aircraft are fully utilised. The only way to free one up for the Birmingham route would be by switching another route to being operated from the other end, e-g either the first Stansted, Luton Gatwick or Belfast flights would be inbound to Edinburgh. Or, of course they could base a nineth aircraft and launch a swathe of new routes or increased frequencies.
