It depends if it’s straight forward or not. Obvious fuel exhaustion would be a no-brainer. If it’s engine or airframe related, expect more involvement.
And yet, the investigation into the incident with "
VH-LBY Skippers C-441" ( AO-2018-019 ) at Broome, 18 months ago, is still marked as due for completion first quarter 2020.
Fortunately, no fatalities or injuries with that one though.
