Came through yesterday. Had used the Blue car park recently built at the north end of the site. Being mostly full, the walking distance from the terminal to the car at the outer end must be the best part of a mile, no kidding. Not fun after midnight in the rain. Plus it seems that you cannot leave the family in the terminal and come back with the car to pick them up at the door without getting done for further charges. But the key thing is the walking route, zig-zagged, incomplete and inadequately signed, in a way that is quite outside anything that would be within the regulations on public roads. Notably the zebra crossing at one point has been reinforced with substantial temporary warning signs of it for drivers, generally the indication of there having been one or more accidents there.
Customs queue at midnight gave us a tally on entry to gauge how long we had queued. We were 25 minutes. Officer receiving it said this was "quite good", and earlier that day they had 2 hours.
