61K is well above the average earnings in the UK. An experienced Police Officer gets 35k. The Paramedic will be on about 35K. So personally I think 61k is OK for this type of role.

The hems rate for P1 starts as low as 53k and for P2 a ridiculous 33k. That’s at one bottom feeder. Those in charter on twins of similar type are salaried usually 85k and up depending on experience. Freelance rates between 600 and 750 depending on type and qualification. There are numerous 6 figure jobs and that’s not even bringing offshore/SAR into the equation where even new baby P2’s are earning more than many HEMS P1’s
