In LOT even the Hungarian crew are treated as second class, so my answer would be to stay away (money is not that great, either...). Converting to EASA wouldn't help you much, in my opinion, as most of the operators require an unrestricted EU passport, 5 year background check, etc. As the market is now in Europe i would definitely look at commuting options from Asia/ME spending only your off time with your family in Poland.
