When you consider how this lot are professionals at charging exorbitant prices for replacement items, the 10 AED replacement fee for a badge obviously indicates a true value of next to nothing. I suspect the level of craftsmanship and quality would probably make your average shop owner in Karama, regurgitate his karak chai in fits of laughter.
I wonder how many badges don’t make it to 2020, never mind the Expo.
