I would think any A220 aircraft would arrive much sooner than that. Remember FlyBe is now owned by Virgin/Delta so an initial transfer of a couple of 'frames from their large order is possible.
As for an announcement I've still got the 15th in the diary........
An option could be a swap with the E175 aircraft which are popular in the US.
