Eurowings, Lufthansa’s direct services brand, is also among the airlines in deep trouble, hemorrhaging money and at risk of failure but propped up by its deep-pocketed parent company. Eurowings has launched a restructuring process and is now one of the few players that has stopped growing altogether.
