A full motion sim consists of four main components. Actually, it occurs to me that for the purpose we are discussing, an off the shelf HOTAS & yoke plus a VR helmet like an Occulus Rift or similar should suffice for the visual interface, so it's just a chair with a full motion system to make it move...
