It seems anyone who was on the hold file previously that didn’t have direct entry requirements or wasn’t a traineeship level 1 (UNSW, 200 hours etc) is being overlooked. Forecasted to be steady recruitment for the foreseeable future as people progress through to mainline, Jetstar etc.
The main reason for recruiting hitting a brick wall currently is the 3 cancelled courses at mainline (sep-nov).

People do not progress to mainline, Jetstar etc. They have to resign from their current role and if successful, start at the bottom of the new entity.
No resignation involved. Transfer from one to the other with sick leave, LSL, staff travel seniority all recognised from the original date. Yes you go to the bottom of AOC seniority list, but that’s just because every airline has their own system for seniority. It’s not an employment related thing to be transferred, just an individually used system for promotion etc.
