There’s still slow but steady recruitment happening. Not as busy as last year, but not dead. I would say it’s probably been 2:1 direct entry to cadets recruited. It seems anyone who was on the hold file previously that didn’t have direct entry requirements or wasn’t a traineeship level 1 (UNSW, 200 hours etc) is being overlooked. Forecasted to be steady recruitment for the foreseeable future as people progress through to mainline, Jetstar etc.
Point of order:
People do not progress to mainline, Jetstar etc. They have to resign from their current role and if successful, start at the bottom of the new entity.
