THOMAS COOK
Well as we are all hoping that Thomas Cook doesn't go bust the deadline line seems to be tonight and the feeling is if you don't have a deal in place tonight with the money guaranteed then it's good bye Thomas Cook.
Now things have started to move on with flights positioning for recover flights just like Monarch collapse
Enroute to Manchester is 9M-MNF A380 due around 0030hrs tonight no other reason for this aircraft to operate empty into Manchester other than to cover TCX flights
Enroute to Shannon is a Eastern B763 N703KW along with 2 others already on the ground
Currently sat at CDG is 9H-MIP A380 HiFly was due into LGW but went to CDG at last minute
Manchester and Gatwick are full overnight with based aircraft especially MAN with building work going on believe me after 1am your lucky to find parking spots for aircraft now MAN and Gatwick will be the two main airports for relief flights and bases for aircraft operating these but until flights actually start it makes sense to park aircraft within a hours flight of MAN and LGW then position out and collect passengers and return to MAN or LGW or even call in on outward flight quick stop and go.
