While this is a website that bears the word "rumour" in its very name, a little caution is advisable. Rumours on aircraft impoundings would be easily checked by looking at the Birmingham airport website, where TCX in- and outbound flights are shown to operate normally with no signs of cancellations or, in fact, unusual delays. Also, an A380 heading to the UK is in no way unusual - were it to be planned for repatriations, it would need to go where the repatriatees are, which is by definition not the UK.
Please do try to verify a hearsay, rumour, smoke signal or whatever else might come by you as far as possible before posting it on here.
