Clearly this is bad news for the industry . I certainly feel the pain that those working for TCG are suffering. Hopefully many will stay in the sector with different companies.
This should not come as a shock to investors as its been clear for a year this was doomed.
Its carrying far to much debt and a network of expensive shops that are not needed today. Its no different to retail suffering at the hands of Amazon etc.
I do feel for those who have saved for holidays and who may no longer get them.
The chances of this surviving this week are under 1% now............. so system's must be put in place to look after customers and staff.
The ones I feel no sympathy for are the bankers and advisors who have milked this company dry.
