I believe some aircraft at MAN are moved onto remote stands during the night anyway as almost all the first set early morning EasyJet flights would need to use Pier B, plus there's no way that all of the based aircraft can be parked at T1 at the same time. Jet2 and Thomas Cook will happily board passengers from Gate 20 at times
