During WW2 it was mainly used for glider pilot training which is also unlikely to have much use for letdown aids.
Whitley Glider Tugs trained at Netheravon with Eureka / Rebbeca combinations. The only reference I have is for 1943 when Eureka Mk I sets were used as only a single frequency was available making it unsuitable for Eureka Mk III.
