Dont bet on it, I've quite a few friends with 1000+ hours turboprop getting told "well if you had a type rating on a 737/57/320"
or
" we are only recruiting 200 hour cadets who can pay for their own rating you've too many hours"
They're stuck in limbo really. Many feel at the moment their years of blatting around in tprops a total waste of time as far as the next job goes.
