JT,
As I said, the style is awfully familiar, but that proves nothing.
But the whole piece is just so familiar as one person who opposed quite vehemently the CASA Review of the mid-90's, opposed the then Director, Leroy Keith introducing "septic tank" ideas, was scathing about the very idea that the Minister would appoint an industry panel (the Program Advisory Panel, PAP) to oversea the review, and after "retirement" was often heard or read in the various media decrying such interference, bu non-experts.
As was Mary Schiavo, he was of the view that introducing cost/benefit to air safety regulation was beyond the pale, although he probably believed that human life was priceless, for Scary Mary it was just part of the shtick of a very politically ambitious person.
Tootle pip!!
