One of my mates in QF told me that the head of the FTO turned to conduct an assessment, he advised QF that their fuel policy did not comply with the new CAAP 234 requirements. He's never flown anything close to what QF operate, never flown international, never had to cross ANY pond on min fuel. He's only got those aircraft qualifications after he got into the FTO and put himself in charge of the flying training budget!! Needless to say, his advice was duly listened to whilst he was on site, duly assessed, and then dispensed with immediately after he left the premises
