Last year my effective tax rate in Jpn was 36% (Natl, Prefec, city)... All pay and allowances are taxable except per deim... I am not at JJ but another Japanese Airline and a taxable resident... Expect about 900,000 a year for NHI which JJ will cover half I believe... Jpn SS not sure which program they will place you in but could range from 16000 to 55000 jpy a month again JJ covers half... As always consult a tax pro for real facts, milage and rates may vary...
