Yes, cosmic rays can produce multiple soft errors.
These are more prevalent with secondary cosmic rays that are neutrons and with higher altitude.
Theoretically, they could also be produced by a direct hit from high energy gamma rays, but the probability that such a particle traverse the high atmosphere unscathed and hit the semiconductor is very remote.
