FAA is much easier! for the SIC you just need to be able to show that you have done some ground school on the systems, flown the aircraft asymmetric and done three takeoffs & landings. This can all be done by any ATP holder on the aircraft. You then have to take all the documents to a FSDO or find a DPE. I'm not sure if there are any in the UAE.
