Thats a way TAP uses to protect itself.
A normal bond would cover that. If you leave before the end of the pre-determined period you’d have to pay a defined amount dependent on the time of exit. I don’t get your point...
i think it’s ridiculous that an airline recruits someone and then asks that same person money to pay for the mandatory training to execute the very same job the person was recruited to do. Imoral, to say the least.
Unfortunately, neither the Union not the pilots are willing to fight to stop that big degradation on T&Cs.
