Well, as far as I know, your vision must be able to be corrected to 20/20 for Class 1. If it cannot be corrected but you somehow manage to get Class 1 issued, think twice before commencing to spend such a huge amount of money for training simply because your subsequent Class 1 renewal may be unsuccessful and then... Money wasted and big disappointment.
I'd strongly suggest to consult a qualified doctor on this matter. Maybe a surgery is possible or there is any other solution...
